As a Doula, I Do Not:
Perform any clinical tasks
As a postpartum doula, we do not perform any clinical tasks. In the event that a parent would need medical guidance, it is still best to consult with your baby's pediatrician.
Make decisions for you
As a postpartum doula, I'm there to provide assistance with any decisions that the parents decide to move forward with. I'm there to provide information and support.
Postpartum follow-up visit
Having help after birth can be very comforting. Have an extra knowledgeable hand that can not only assist in caring for your baby, but also help around the house.
